COBHTTPD VER. 3.10
COBHTTPD is the Application Server build special for COBOL.
With this program you can run remotely programs writen with any COBOL compiler.
COBHTTPD is an http web server that serve text files, graphics files and run special programs
with an internal routines for run external programs (COBOL RUNTIME).
COBHTTPD run on: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003. (The Test Suite is runing on Windows 2003).
Some Advantages:
- Of easy way, you can do that the same program for print with COBVIEW can work with COBHTTPD,
building the same report for internet, avoiding to have duplication code
- Complete application, not need any web server like IIS or Apache.
- This program is not CGI wraper.
- Your COBOL program Receive the data by LINKAGE-SECTION.
- Internal buffer from 4096 bytes for input data.
- The output is than easy like write a SEQUENTIAL FILE.
- Work in Windows98/200/XP
- The client side can work with any internet browser like MS IE or Netscape, and the plugin for
view PDF files. Not any special program.
- You can view the reports with Linux/Unix with any compatible browser.
